I got through the weekend without hearing from either job. On Sunday night after 5 hours of mimosas I decided to leave the recruiter a little love message. Don't worry I didn't slur my words. She phoned me back in the AM on Sunday. I called her and she let me know that personality and culturally I was a great match. Skill-wise they were unsure of one area that I might need some additional experience or depth. I addressed this concern with her over the phone and expressed my continued interest in the position. They have not decided to pass on me yet, but they haven't decided to hire me either. And so, I wait.

The other opportunity will require another round if they like me and my suspicion is that it the next step will take place next week. I hope, and I pray. I have never been good at waiting or having patience as a virtue.

I talked with yet another recruiter, and she and I had a conversation about compensation and positioning myself competitively on the market. It was an interesting conversation but I am not sure that I agree with her and I had to point out my other experience to her, which I didn't think that she fully understood. Anywho, I am keeping on, and trying to land a gig. I remain, unemployed.
