This week was a big week for interviews. I have a good feeling that something positive is going to come out of one or both of the opportunities that I interviewed for. So I am keeping on the positive thinking train and visualizing having one or both of the jobs.

The one on Tuesday lasted nearly three hours and was a bit further away from where I am currently living. However, my lease is up in November and if I get a job soon I am entertaining the idea of purchasing a home. I am not sure if it's gonna work out and it's all contingent on getting a job. So the cost of living up that way is less than where I live and maybe buying more of a home would be in my future sooner. It's working for a technology database company that needs help marketing their products and services. The building is brand new and if I got it, it would be an uber cool job. The title isn't fantastic but I think the money is there, and I like to think that they spent 3 hours of time with me so they are truly interested in me. They left it with that they'd be in contact with the recruiter who would be my point of contact for this position. I have emailed the recruiter to ask her about the feedback she's received, if any from them. I haven't heard anything yet!

On Wednesday, I interviewed with five people for the grand total of 4 hours. This interview was very intense and I think that they liked me. I told them that I was actively interviewing and that I thought I was closing in on an offer. I told them that if I got an offer I would be in touch. The hiring manager used this opportunity to tell me that I was one of their top candidates. I was excited to hear this. However, I was not excited to learn that there was another interview with the chairman of the committee that I would be running. I am excited for this opportunity as well because it would be an office and a nice title and I wouldn't have to move.

I could only hope that I would be so blessed to receive both these offers. The waiting game is quite annoying. But I know that my patience will pay off in the end. I hope that I will be able to come to a conclusion that will result in the best job that is for me for all the right reasons.

Think extremely happy thoughts. As Newton did with his experiment with an apple, what goes up must come down. My mood will definitely be in the dumps should this not work out. I am gonna keep up the happy thoughts so that it's not even a possibility.
