This weekend was full of contemplation and reflection on the ghosts of relationship past. My ex Navy D is back in the area and has gotten back in touch with me. I stopped emailing him and he was like what happened. I was like umm you didn't ask me any questions so I didn't write you back. The realization I came back to is that I tried to force things too much with him and I wanted to learn from my mistakes.

So I wrote an email to M and told him that the ex had brought up some confusing feelings and thoughts and I knew I didn't want to date the ex but I needed to sort through them prior to getting involved in a relationship. He was so nice, and It was hard to do but in the end it was the right thing to do. He wanted to hang out for the V-day, and I didn't. I did do this over email, which is the cowards way out but the bulk of our communication including him asking me out was over email. I plan on checking in with him about his life, etc next week.

Navy D wants to be my friend. I told him I didn't know that it was possible at this juncture. Why? He was a crappy boyfriend, he's going to make a great friend? This is highly doubtful and I told him as much. I said if you want to be my friend, you're going to have to intiate conversation, I will not do this. I will not write you, im you, or attempt to call you. He said, may I ask why? I can tell you that you were an awful boyfriend and it was me communicating 98% of the time and him about 2%. I did FLAT out ask him if he had harbored any feelings towards me relationship wise, and he said that he basically did but he knew that he didn't have a chance in hell. What the F?

I have another date with another guy we'll call DOJ Dog Owner. The future is bleak, because Spike doesn't like other dogs. With extensive treatment from the dog whisper, he might. But it's highly doubtful. It's fun and exciting to continue to persue others and have them persue me. I have another date with C who I have talked to forever for coffee on Saturday morning. I have a full weekend with the cousins coming into town. WHOO! I can't wait especially since Kristlyn3 is ditching out on me.
