Being that I live in a very politically charged area, I can't escape politics anywhere I go. Ironically, I can't stand to discuss politics, why because I have my beliefs and you have yours and we probably don't agree. I can see your side of the story but I am never going to believe whatever it is that you do. Well maybe not never, but it's pretty rare.

Anyway... I went to church during lunch time yesterday, and was able to get through the ceremony without being upset. This is a rare thing. I have probably gone to about 5-6 churches searching for a church that doesn't make me angry. Anyway, it was only one mass, but they usually get to me after about 4.

I am a confirmed Catholic, but probably haven't been to church for two or so years outside of weddings, and funerals. The homily began saying welcome to Jiffy Lube, and the Priest went on to say that Lent is a time to get a religious tune up and reconnect. Obviously, I can relate to that, and think it's glorious! It was a good time!

In other news, things are picking up in the dating scene again. I had purchased an on-line dating service thing back in November which was a 6 month deal. So I still had my profile live, but haven't really gone out with anyone since November. I was on a self imposed man diet. Anyway, I think that I am about to cheat on that. There are two boys who seem to be cool. They are not perfect but who the heck is? Kristy and I came up with names for them last night because she's seen their profiles. Tattoo boy and DOD_IT Boy.

Tattoo boy has some barbed wire around his thigh and a picture that shows it and is a spinning instructor and government worker. Sadie must appreciate the spinning aspect, and he teaches wed and Sundays. He and I have had great emails and we had two awesome phone conversations for about an hour and half last night. He said he's looking to meet people develop a friendship and see what happens after that. I like this obviously, since I was on a self-imposed man diet. So we were texting this morning too, so that's exciting!

DOD_IT boy also works for the government, if you're not familiar with the acronym it's department of defense. He's a bit older than Tattoo boy and has been divorced. So I am less excited about him for the obvious reasons. We have had good emails as well, and we talked briefly last night. He asked me out for coffee so I will be meeting up with him on Friday. We shall see how it goes...

My plan is to go out with as many people that I am interested in that ask me to go out, and to date like a man. Maybe I will have a boy for every day of the week? Who knows? Obviously, I am clueless.
