It's funny I decide to be religious on occasion. Mostly during Lent, which I find interesting. Anyway, this year for Lent I am giving up all food that is fried. I have recently been uber lazy in the cooking dept and ordering or picking up fast food to include: fried chicken, french fries, and all sorts of things that you should not be eating on any kind of regular basis.

Yesterday was the last day of eating anything of fried substance. Its a two pronged strategy, one to give up something I love (french fries, fried rice) and to be healthier.

I started the book Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert back in Labor Day because I wanted to go on my own spiritual journey. I put it down and picked up others because I couldn't focus on it. I have the time and the desire to read it because I want to find spiritual peace and learn to love myself even more!

Anyway, mentally speaking I will say that I am in a great place. Physically, I hope to keep getting into better shape now that I have been cleared to run again. My new shoes get here today and the Wii & Wii Fit will be ordered on Friday! Whoo peeps!
