So Friday I had to go to Raleigh for work. I did get to see Hoda Kotb from the today show. She was a really beautiful and down to earth person. She was not snobby nor did she feel that people should be treating her like a celebrity at least not in the airport. We actually even had a brief conversation about the plane and if I got on the flight. I was already on my flight and not hers. The airport was off the chain and it was delayed, delayed and delayed.
Saturday was by far the worse day ever. I got up and went shopping. This part was not so bad. I had fun, got a dress for a family wedding and bought a comfy outfit to lounge in. So in the afternoon my computer started to run slow. I hit the restart button. My hard drive crashed. I have lost everything. We've entered as the apple guys have told me a thing called "data recovery" which starts at 400 - 500 dollars. I have the hard drive and I am going to have my mother, my uncle, or Navy D recover my data. So that was number one bad thing. If you believe in the superstition, you know that bad things happen in three.
The second bad thing that happened was there was a guy who was driving dangerously slow, like 10 miles an hour in the left lane. So I went around him and passed him. I should have stopped at the light but I didn't and guess what. A cop was there. I got a ticket. As I am about to leave the scene of the crime, I go to start my car. Guess what? It won't start. Fun times. So my friend who I was meeting came to jump me. We went to hear the band that we were going to see.
Sunday morning. I walked to NTB and they came to my house and replaced my battery. This was a nice thing. However I did go to apple store to get my less than one year old computer fixed and guess what? I lost everything, but you already knew that if you read the first paragraph.
Today I have off because every other week, I get a 3 day weekend. I am greatful to have this, because I am going to do fun things like fold laundry, hang out with spike and enjoy my day.
I hope you all had a lot more fun than I did this weekend.
