New Year's Eve, AKA Amateur Night was a semi success. I got to the metro and the timing gods were with me. About 2 minutes after I entered the station the train got there. I hopped on the train and headed to R's bf's house. While I was walking there I dropped a bottle of wine on the street in the middle of downtown A-town. I kept on walking and saved the other bottle. The bag had broken and there was no hope for saving the shattered glass.

I got to her bf's place and the party was just starting to swing. Basically I brought the party! I had a tray of sausage, and mozzarella cheese hors d'oeuvres. They turned out awesome and everyone loved them. I told her bf he had to eat 6 of them so every time that he took one he told me. I was admiring his vintage art prints and he told me he would give them to me because he was going to marry R and her artwork would be hanging all over his walls soon. I laughed and told him to work on that and when it happened I would take them off his hands! He was like no I am serious!

I had done my own hair which everyone was raving about. I had pinned it up and sprayed gold glitter in it. It looked quite nice. I was sporting my new jeans and a flowy top so I didn't have to worry about holding my gut or the girls in. I was super pumped to see my friend's band play and shake it to his music! We got there around 1030 and he had been playing for almost an hour, so we heard one song and then he went on break. We continued to dance dance dance and I continued to drink because I was not yet drunk. When the ball dropped at midnight it had felt like we were there for about 10 minutes so that was good. Every one was part of a couple except for me and N's Roommate J. J said to me "we might as well kiss" I shrugged and gave him a smootch on the mouth. He looked at me as if to say, "that's it" and I was like yep because he's a smoker. Not a fan of the cigarette breath for full on making out, which did not happen.

J was 26 years old and a former Navy Dude. He talked about his navy stuff and I got flashbacks from SD. I was not interested in hooking up with him at all, but when we got back to his place... NO I didn't dirty birdy's get your mind out of the gutter. I decided that at 3 am I needed to go home. He walked me to my cab and said that if there hadn't been his friend who arrived at 230 am around he would have hooked up with me. To which I replied by getting into my caB.

I got home and collapsed. It was about 4 am when I finally climbed into bed. I did not walk the baby and he patiently waited till 9 am for me to get up. I walked to the metro about 1.5 miles away and got McDonalds for breakfast. I had a slow start and got on the road about 230 to head to my Aunt's house.
