Jones and Cariad went to day camp today for much of the day because Carl and I had to go to our office and elsewhere in town. We were afraid that they would be alone too long and be lonely - or perhaps they might destroy the house. They came home tired and happy to see us, but they seem to like going to this place. The place always gives us a report on who they played with during play time and which dogs they liked the best. I realize that in the US we seem to care more about dogs and cats than people sometimes, and I can't work all that out in my head.
Shortly, we are going back to the town in Indiana where I grew up to attend a class reunion. This town is on a lake. Virtually all of us left there after graduation from high school, but it is interesting that several of my classmates have moved back after making their fortunes elsewhere. We grew up in simpler times, so that draws us back, I guess. Cheers, jb
