Only casually important because it is SIR luncheon day. Get to gather together with a bunch of other old fogies and swap lies over a pretty nice lunch.
I am more that sure that the wives look forward to these luncheons. It gets retired guys out of the house and not under foot for a few hours.
Today our luncheon speaker was a retired game warden. He had great tales to tell and he made his experiences very, very interesting.
We were going to head up to Reno this afternoon, but there were storm warnings that included snow for the next couple of days.
It would have been a quick trip. JoAnne has to take her mom for a doctor's appointment tomorrow. She is losing her sight in one eye. Oh my!
