After the weekend in Reno, we are back in Sacramento to attend the CRTA Luncheon and perform several business responsibilities and obligations.
Tonight we have dinner with our Sacramento neighborhood group and tomorrow night I have a school board meeting I wish to attend.
Easter Sunday is blessed with two dinner invitations and since they are at different times of the day, we shall attend both. (Dang! The possibility of over eating looms big time.)
A sister will have us in Tracy, California, at one pm and a niece will have us in Byron, California, at three pm. Both are excellent hostesses and we shall have two good times.
For sure I do not realize old I actually am until I begin to associate with the children of my siblings. Living in two 55 and older communities gives one a skewed perception.
This morning Peter and Laura dropped by at 5 am. They needed a ride to the airport for their trip to Paris. Their youth and vigor just managed to make me tired. LOL!
Having step-children is a magnificent thing, but it sure makes me feel old! Now that we are getting close to being grand parents, I am even older. LOL!
Duty calls. I must walk the dogs and then leave for the luncheon. We have to leave a bit early in order to give a neighbor a ride along.
She is a retired school librarian and you know how librarians are. LOL!
Y'all take care hear?
