Well, it could be worse. I could be stuck in traffic returning to Reno. (Have to get there soon. There is snow everywhere and I need to clear my driveway and sidewalks.)

Plenty of rain, but no threat of flooding yet. Several weirs have been opened on the Sacramento river, but those by-passes are no where near to being full.

Since I last posted, we went across country to South Carolina and back by RV. Had a great time and took most of the month of September in the process.

Two weeks ago, we wandered by RV down to Palm Spring for a few days, dropping over to Fullerton on our way back to visit with grandson Bud. (He is walking now and getting into everything. Looks like he is going to be a pretty stout young man in a couple of years.

Stopped at the Reagan museum on the way back up to Sacrament and were seriously impressed with the displays there. It is a beautiful building and one can learn a lot by dropping by.

The RV (Spook)is back in storage now. She has been tuned up and some improvements were made to her plumbing. For sure, she is ready for our main trip this summer to Colorado, Canada and any little dinky trips we may want to take between now and July.

We now have a second grandson. His legal name is Franklyn, but this grandpa always gives special names and I have dubbed this little guy, Kirby. He is a doll and is growing by leaps and bounds.

Kirby's momma will be returning to work in February, so grandparents are taking turns babysitting. I am responsible for four hours in the morning on Tuesdays.

I haven't changed a diaper or bottle fed a baby in over fifty years. Oh my! This is going to be interesting.
