Well, the opening "official" event took place in the building of the new East Natomas Education Center. I did my duty by dawning my hard hat and manning a gold painted shovel.
not sure exactly why I was so honored, but anyhow, I was there.
Some foundations are already laid and hard construction of buildings should star soon. Hopefully it will be finished by June of 2010.
