Yesterday was a beautiful day and the weather bug tells me that it is 58 degrees at Pea Vine Elementary this morning.
Too bad we have wind warnings here at 11am. Wind speeds are supposed to get up to 40 mph and last until about 4pm.
Have to head down the hill this afternoon. WE have appointments in Auburn and Roseville on the way down and we have a CRTA luncheon tomorrow.
Stitches come out of my arm on Thursday. Incision is healing well, but will have a scar.
Will have to mow the back lawns in Sacramento on Tuesday afternoon and I think we have chorus practice on Thursday afternoon.
Good news is that we shall have the two nieces come to see us from Australia in late June. We shall have them as guests for about two weeks and that should include a trip to the Grand Canyon. Their grandmother lives in Sacramento so this might limit the time we spend in Reno.
This should over-lap daughter Keiko's stop in as she returns from her trip to Europe. She has been accepted to the MFA program at Fullerton and will be moving to LA in August from Hawaii.
Things will really heat up for JoAnne. Keiko is expecting our first grandchild in September and the new grandmother will be there to ease the stress of the grad school and motherhood combination.
This will leave Winston, Teddy and I at loose ends for a few days. I shall check my Calendar, but think that our time will probably be spent in Reno. I will only have a SIR meeting meeting to worry about. There will be no chorus practices for a while and CRTA won't meet again until September.
Have to go check my blood sugar.
Y'all take care hear?
