Following the same premise as the first movie -- focusing on three different women from three generations who've occupied the same house -- this Emmy-winning follow-up trains its lens on three lesbian couples. In 1961, Edith (Vanessa Redgrave)

loses her longtime companion (Dale-5 stars; David-4 stars). In the 197s, collegiate Linda (Michelle Williams)

falls for townie Amy (Chloe Sevigny)

(Dale & David-4 stars). And in 2000, the house's inhabitants (Ellen DeGeneres,

Sharon Stone)

want to become parents (Dale-5 stars, David-4 stars).

4.3 stars. Great lesbian stories. The first story with Vanessa was very heart-retching to see her deal with the loss of her partner and home. The last story with Sharon & Ellen was fabulous! Loved the two of them as a couple...very cute!
