Disney animators take on the classic Grimm Brothers story of Rapunzel (Mandy Moore),

a long-locked beauty imprisoned in a secluded tower by evil hag Mother Gothel (Donna Murphy),

who needs the rejuvenating powers of Rapunzel's tresses to remain young. When a bandit on the lam (Zachary Levi)

helps Rapunzel escape, the old crone plots to recapture her and end her budding romance with the thief in this Golden Globe nominee for Best Animated Feature.

2010 PG 100 minutes

4.32 stars (Dale-4.63, David-4) Another great animation flick! LOVED MAXIMUS! The music was a bit much at times but overall it was a great show, great story (love how the retold the same old story!!)

And how much do you pay for your movie at home including time,
electricity, wear and tear, wi-fi, etc?
And whatever happened to a couple having a Saturday night date--going to a movie, having dinner and then a little 'hankie pankie'? You old jaded guys are just too much!

we do a date night now & then. But normally we go for a nice dinner out & an evening walk!

There is such a BIG difference between watching All About Eve on a computer screen and a movie screen--movies are MADE for a big screen and you miss a lot of nuances on a small screen

Well I am sure it was better on the big screen and if the cost of the films were about half the price it is now I'd probably go to the movies more.

Films are being made to watch at home too fast--the exhibitors--theatre owners use to have a 6 month window between showing in their theaters and it being released to home viewing via netflex, cable, DVD, etc. and people being lazy don't want to go out to theatres where these movies should be seen and they won't if they can stay at home, eat, talk, etc. within a month or 2!

No way in hell would I go to the theater for this kind of movie. I only pay $30 to go to the movie if it has tons of graphics & visual stuff. Anything that does not have all of that is not worth spending that much money. I do think the theater's should still have there window though

I can understand why theatre owners are so mad/disturbed--this was just, and still might be, in theatres.
