The Sad Sack

Jerry Lewis stars as inept soldier Meredith Bixby in this hilarious comedic romp. In spite of his incompetence, Bixby is sent to Morocco on a top-secret assignment after an Army psychiatrist (Phyllis Kirk) discovers he has a photographic memory. Once there, Bixby falls for nightclub performer Zita (Liliane Montevecchi) -- but when she rejects him, he runs off to join the Foreign Legion, only to be kidnapped by an Arabian spy (Peter Lorre).

Okay, are you sitting down? I LOVE JERRY LEWIS!!! I watch his movies and crack up--all I have to do is think of his squeezing oranges in "My Friend Irma" that he made with Dean Martin and I can't stop laughing!!I'll take him over Will Ferral, Eddie Murphy, Steve Carell, etc.
