In this sequel to Donnie Darko, Donnie's sister, Samantha, sets out for Hollywood, only to become stranded in a remote town where she begins to have visions of apocalypse. Now she and her friend must unravel the mystery before the world is doomed.

2.56 stars. (Dale-2.37, David-2.75) This is a horrible mindless regurgitation of images and ideas from the first film. I wish I could go back in time just so I could skip this movie and maybe watch the clearly superior original again. After this travesty, I'm starting to doubt my own commitment to Sparkle Motion. On the good side, the cinematography was gorgeous which is a great tribute to the style of the first film (as well as the music).
