Last night we went to Mamiya Theatre on Saint Louis School campus for the performance of "Be The Rainbow: How Roy G. Biv Found the Light". It was put on by the Movement Center and was their 10th Annual Summer Sensations Benefit Concert. The Movement Center is an amazing place where kids & adults work together & and even though they may not always agree they all are learning to work together to make life more rewarding. The Movement Center also teaches children & adults that we can achieve our goals by embracing our differences & using everyone's strengths!!

My bosses daughter, Misha, was part of the group and had a staring roll in this amazing performance. The story goes like this: Roy G. Biv (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, & Violet) leaves earth in search of answers to how to keep the world peaceful and clean from pollution. He lands on the Blue Planet where the aliens are dressed like fairies and everything is blue. He then moves on to the Violet Planet & then to Green Planet. Finally he goes to see the Grand Governor of the Galaxy (G3) for answers on how to make the earth a better place to live. The story was put into simple language that anyone could understand but the basic premise was that we all maybe different but if we all work together we can accomplish peace & a cleaner earth.

There were kids as young as 3 performing (they had on these while leotard tops with a silver skirt & little tap shoes...god they were so fricken cute up their & did such a great job!!!) all the way up to 3 grandmother's who were performing. I Loved Roy G. Biv's hair (think elvis but WAY exagerrated!!). A billion Stars!!

(David's work helped support this performance)
