My Best Friend here in Hawai`i is Lori and I asked her to be my Best "Man" at my wedding. She said yes and wrote up a speech but didn't get a chance to give it until that night at our house amongst a small gathering of close friends. I loved it and just wanted to share it with you. "I am deeply honored that you asked me to be your best man. I feel so very special. I mean, not very many women can say that they got to be a best man in their life time! And, you are special too. Not very many people can say that their best man showed up to their wedding wearing a dress!
But, on a more serious note, many people think there are many kinds of love. The love between parent and child, brotherly love, love between friends and even passionate love between lovers...but, those are just expressions. There is really only one love because there is only one heart center that shines love. Bob Marley got that right in his song (One Love, One Heart). And John Lennon got it right too, All You Need is Love. Dale and David, may you shine love on each other always. I love you guys".
