In the year 2042, Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a Looper, a hired assassin for the mob who kills people sent from the future. But what will he do when the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination?
5 stars. Unpredictable. You didn't have any idea about what was going to happen until it happened!
"The philosophy of the movie is centered around various moral conundrums and the nature vs. nurture debate. It's answer to the cliched "would you kill baby Hitler if you could go back in time," is one you don't hear often. Rather than "yes, b/c of the suffering he caused" or "no, because it's always wrong to kill an innocent child," its answer is "I'd do everything I could to have him grow up as something other than a monster." ~Netflix user Comment
