Director Dustin Lance Black's coming-of-age tale traces a 19-year-old's odyssey of sexual discovery. Eager to escape small-town life in Georgia, Jared Price (Corey Spears) moves to Southern California with only a backpack full of duds and a few C-notes in his pocket. After landing a job as caretaker for an elderly lady, Jared finds himself torn between two love interests: his neighbor (Josh Jacobson) and his employer's son (Steve Tyler).

We gave it 3 stars. Wonderful story, some bad dialogue, OK acting, lots of cute butts & boys though!!! (Martin would like that LOL).
I'd give Journey of Jared Price 2 1/2-3 stars. The story itself is wonderful, but some of the bad acting becomes rather annoying at times. I liked Corey Spears (the kid who played Jared) a lot. He had that sweet, innocent southern boy thing going on.
He does have a nice ass!
