Portrays a young girl, Amy, adjusting to a new school and classmates' attitudes about her deaf parents. Amy endures embarrassment, deception, and guilt, but in the end is finally able to accept her parents' deafness. Shows how a hearing child of deaf parents (CODA) is often called upon to be the bridge between hearing and deaf worlds. Communication between Amy and her parents is entirely in sign language.

This is my niece whose parents are both deaf.They have a wonderful communication with the family and they all know and use sign language.That is so cool for them.
