Family Guy: Vol. 6

The wildly dysfunctional Griffin family is back in action with another season in which Chris and Meg get jobs at a convenience store, Peter's anti-immigration activities backfire, and Stewie tries to kill Lois while she and Peter are on a cruise. Stewie then resumes plans for world domination, but Lois has a trick up her sleeve. This season also includes a spoof of Star Wars, and James Woods

and Barry Manilow

make (animated) cameo appearances.

This season includes:

1. No Meals on Wheels - When Peter comes into some money, he decides to fulfill his life's dream and open a restaurant. But when the restaurant becomes the new hangout for Joe and all his handicapped friends, Peter attempts to change the clientele. 3.75 stars (Dale-4, David-3.5)

2. Boys Do Cry - The family is forced to flee to Texas when their congregation believes that Stewie is possessed by the devil. Stewie enters the Little Miss Texas pageant, and Chris and Meg sneak into George Bush's house to steal his underwear. 3.88 stars (Dale-4.25, David-3.5)

3. No Chris Left Behind - When Chris is expelled, he's sent to the fancy boarding school that Lois's grandfather attended, but he doesn't quite fit in. The Giant Chicken returns for Peter, and they wreak havoc in the longest animated battle in the history of television. 3.5 stars (Dale-4, David-3)

4. It Takes a Village Idiot (and I Married One) - When the local oil refinery dumps toxic waste into Lake Quahog, Lois is compelled to run for mayor. She finds that absolute power corrupts absolutely, while Peter enjoys the perks of being the First Lady of Quahog. 4.13 stars (Dale-4.5, David-3.75)

5. Meet The Quagmires - Death grants Peter's wish to travel back in time to before he was married, when he broke a date with Lois to party with Molly Ringwald. But when he returns to the present, he discovers to his horror that Molly Ringwald is his wife. 3.75 stars (Dale-4, David-3.5)

6. Blue Harvest - When the power goes out, Peter decides to entertain the family with his version of the Star Wars saga, starring Chris as a whining Luke Skywalker and Peter as an extra-large but heroic Han Solo. 4.13 stars (Dale-4.25, David-4)

7. Movin' Out (Brian's Song) - Peter convinces Brian to get serious with his girlfriend, so Brian and Jillian get their own place. When Stewie has to move in to help pay the rent, the relationship is strained to the breaking point. 3.63 stars (Dale-4.25, David-3)

8. Believe It Or Not Joe's Walking on Air - Joe's thrilled after having leg transplant surgery, but he drives the guys to exhaustion doing all the things he couldn't do before. When the guys can't keep up, he drops them for new, more athletic friends. 3.5 stars (Dale-4, David-3)

9. 100th Episode Special - Creator Seth MacFarlane hosts a look at some of the funniest moments and musical numbers from the first 100 episodes of the show. Real people give their thoughts on the show ... and they're not good. 3 stars.
