Our hike today:
We hike along the shore to the Blow Holes called Dragon's Nostrils. We spotted a few whales along the way. We left right away as it began to rain. We hiked up the steep cliff to the paved trail (Makapu`u Lighthouse Road). We followed the trail down to the corner and then followed a dirt path down the ridge and down to Pele's Chair. Once there we followed an old road across the field to the Hawai`i Kai Golf Course. We hiked 2.85 miles with an elevation gain of 404 feet.
