I think it's easy..on a scale of 1-6 (1-hardest, 6-easiest) I'd give it a 5. Great view from the top especially when it's a clear day. https://www.blogster.com/daboyz/asl-hikers-diamond-head-trail-022612

Damn! I dragged the map around as I always do... looks like the area goes from heavily populated to vacant land with no in between. Somewhat unusual. Most places have at least buildings along the roads leading out of town.

Diamond Head is right in the middle of town with not much in the crater but military stuff.
