Went to a place called tennant creek in the northern territory of Australia
We had friends there an elderly couple who we used to call nan and pop they lived on the outskirts, and pop well he was bout 65 70 yrs old then .
They lived in a house that had big yard and every time pop went to the local rubbish dump he would bring back more that he would take excuse was weeeel ya never know when you might need something lol. My ex used to go out bush for days to service fire extinguishers and he was going up that way so we all decide that me and kids would stay with nan and pop while he went to the settlements was good idea got to spend time with them
Any way the toilet was up the back of yard and it had bench seat with hole in and room each side of hole keep this in mind ok lol
'upon arriving nan said that pop had seen a snake around his shed not surprising lol with all rubbish not food type I have to add lol so nan and pop both said if we go to loo we go in pairs I said ok yeah right what would I do if I see snake I fort to me self lol , any way first few times we went all was good then one night before bed I said to nan I'm goin to loo she ok I comin up we go she goes 1 St that ok I'm watching for u know what very relaxed I was as nottin had been seen on our previous trips she comes out I go in well no sooner had I pulled my nickers down she yells out DONT MOVE STAY WHERE YOU ARE I'm shouting WHY WHY she says THE SNAKE THE SNAKE I yell WHERE IS IT NAN WHERE lol she says STAY THERE IM GONNA GET POP far out I'm thinking where the hell is it in mean time imagine this I'm trying to pull my knickers up stand on side of loo and keep door shut next thing she shouts opo here he s killing it now got it well my legs where like jelly I came out and ran straight up tokitchen they came in after me and they where laughing when we where talkin about it now nan had a stool by the stove with rain water with a jug in bucket to get water out in always did and she would put that in kettle for coffee she then said laughin are ya gonna ,make pop a coffee for killin snake for you I say no prob yeah right my legs are still like jelly and my hands where still shakin lol I put jug in bucket needless to say I was soaked so was floor water was every where lol I could stop shaking so nan laughing bless her made coffee
Next moring she went to get some shopping was smallll town all her friends when they saw me said heard you had prob with nickers door and legs lol I never did live it down pop and nan are still alive hes is now 90 and she is in her 80s I caught up with them last yr as they moved to south Australia 20yrs ago to a little townagain lol and we went there for weekend with daughter so kev and I called in to see them they where so pleased we still exchange Xmas cards to this very day
Oh and yes guess what THERE IS NO OUTSIDE DUNNIE IN THAT yard
