My way, there will be no bailout. The greedy SOB's knew about the impending dangers of their risky actions years ago, and they kept at it even more grandiose. A few years ago, John McCain tried to warn congress and the American people about the near-illegal financial atrocities taking place; but no way, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd lied and lied and lied, and continued supporting their fat-cat uber-rich Dem-Lib buddies running Fannie and Freddy, and here we are today. Let the business's go under and down the drain, let Raines and Aires and the whole bunch of Obama financial adviser crooks behind this scheme take the heat, pay up, and or go to jail - along with Barney Frank and Chris Dodd etc. for aiding and abetting this criminal activity. I do feel somewhat empathetic towards the average Joe six-pack homeowner, BUT, why in the holy H would any hourly worker anywhere with even the least bit of sense fall for thinking that their bring home pay would double or more in only five years (ARM time) Even the richest one percent of Americans (union workers according to Bill Clinton in 1993) over the past five years, have had their hourly pay on a National average, increase from $27.00 to $29.50, not counting benefits. Still difficult to try and make $1000.00 per month mortgage payments, all modern utilities, two new cars, 3-4 monthly cell phone plans, and a two-week Caribbean Cruise vacation every year.
Sorry, but I grew up in the age and time of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY; but, I know that quality is an unknown entity in today's society. Too bad, so sad!!!!
We can't blame the anyone but ourselves for walking around with dozens of Credit Cards. You don't have to fill out every offer for one you receive. I've been recycling credit card offers for twenty years, because I don't really believe in buying every darned thing my eyes light upon. For those who do, stop whining and get another job! You spent the money. Pay your own bills. That goes for the bankers too.
