One for Each
Each opposing side, the DNC and the RNC have won one, or better, we the people have really won with each of these bills. First, for the RNC, the FISA bill, which is as so named, Foreign Intelligence Surveillance - was being held up regarding the salivating possibility to sue (extort) communication's companies over their valued assistance to the government in thwarting terrorist activities. Sorry, but most of what was being intercepted is public airwaves (cell phone) transmissions, and is in no way "wiretapping." Next, for the DNC, for repealing the annual bill to cut doctor's payments for treating Medicare patients. Bush vows to veto this bill - thereby proving that he really does keep his head up in his ass. If most, or even a small number of physicians stop treating Medicare patients - because they are being paid less than the cost of providing services - these same patients just become 100% free at community clinics and hospitals - and ends up costing the government (we the taxpayer)even more!!!!!
