Took sister to the doctor again yesterday to help get her a wheel chair. She is beginning to need one and wanted to just buy it herself - but I said NO!! Everyone else gets one from Medicare and insurance and that is what she pays her dues for.

It is a warm muggy day here, but I love it. It is always cool inside, so I can sit out and then come in when it gets too warm.

My "lovely" Lucy bit my left hand when I was trying to put a bandage on her sore foot. Needless to say she is still bare. I have a pretty good bit - between the ring finger and the middle one. It is swollen again today, but better. I put antibiotics on it and a bandage last night and it is healing better today. I will try again with her and first show her who the alpha dog is before I start doctoring. I forgot yesterday.

My little 16 year old grandson, is driving from near Houston to Las Cruces, N. Mex. to work on one of his dad's jobs. I dont' think he is too thrilled, but is happy about the money. Everyone in New Mexico has to be paid 15.95 per hour. That is their basic salary. I as Matthew is the only child in the second marriage and his little mother is having a fit. He has been so sheltered that I know he will learn a lot. I hope he doesn't get too homesick. His dad also hired a friend of his, so they can "buddy" around together.

Today will be busy, I have a load of clothes in and need to go to the grocery store. We are about out of staples.
