Belle

I am still new at this, so please forgive me if I mess up picture placements and stuff like that!

I love doing just about anything you can think of with my hands. Always have.. I feel this compulsive need to keep my fingers occupied. As a result, I knit, paint, craft, and also love my little hand held game systems.

Knitting works well when I'm in the car or watching TV. Its portable, and at the moment, I am totally loving dolls. Jean Greenhowe is one of my favourite (yes - I am a Canadian, so there will be extra letters in a lot of words.. we love to throw around the letter "u") people, and she does these incredibly detailed doll patterns.

My soon to be daughter-in-law loves Belle. Jean has patterns for topsy turvey dolls, so I took her Cinderella doll and turned it into Belle. They make comfortable pillows. If you stand her up, one side is Belle as she looks when she is singing through the village..

and if you flip her over, you get to see Belle when she is dancing with the beast..

Hi. I think you'll like it here. We're sorta "family".

Just beautiful, and so clever of you to update Cinderella to Belle. I haven't graduated to dolls yet, am still in the sweaters stage of knitting but I have a cousin in England who sends me beautiful dolls she's made once in awhile. I'll post a picture.

You did a beautiful job on the Belles. Jean Greenhowe's topsy turvys are a little more polished than mine: https://my.mybloggers.com/nittineedles/topsy_turvy_doll_free_pattern.html
