OK, OK, I'll post about my birthday weekend, even though I'm NOT doing well with my upper 30s.

Friday I went out with a bunch of friends for dinner - not so much for my bday as it was just to get together... fine by me as I really do not like attention drawn on me (especially) where my bday is concerned.

In a nutshell, I was spoiled rotten on Saturday (my actual bday): S made homemade waffles for breakfast, homemade burgers for lunch, and then made a run to White Castle late in the evening after making - for scratch - a chocolate pudding cake.

And he topped it all off with ... a ...

CLEAN KITCHEN!

Seriously, he spoiled me and loved me and adored me all day long. And then before bed, he gave me an hour long back rub.

What a dude, eh? ;) I think I'll keep him around a little while longer.

The original plan - which we will still do - was to take me apple picking and hayriding before spending the night at a hotel and going to the casino the next day. He postponed these plans because of the rain we had (he figured it would be a bit muddy out) and because I had the worst period of my life on Friday (no joke).

Yesterday we went up to the casino and played 4 hours of Bingo (for real) with my mom. It was her gift to me (she bought my cards and S's). None of us won but it was still a nice time spent together with my mommy and husband.

So there you have it: How I spent my 26th Birthday (yup, I've decided that I'm going to be start celebrating my birthday from 10 years ago).
