My wife and I had dinner this past Saturday night at our favorite diner where I often order for my main entree their delicious baby boneless stuffed salmon with crab meat or the thick slice of Norwegian salmon I opted for last night. The portions at this diner are always huge and full dinners come with soup, a salad, choice of a potato and vegetable, choice of any dessert., a beverage and a glass of wine and priced very reasonably.
I think the owner is from some Scandinavian country. I knew this was real Norwegian salmon seeing the long slender merchant Viking ship with a dragon's head protruding from the bow in the parking lot. It was taking up several parking spaces but it's a pleasant site knowing the cargo on board is fresh. I suspect I'll be eating a lot more fresh salmon now especially with our president welcoming more immigrants from Norway.
