I didn't realise how much fun I was missing out of with not having any stairs.
As they would say in England BRILLIANT, it really is lovely. Will look forward to seeing you wear it when the warmer weather arrives.
Must try out that Kingfisher some day,It looks like a real nice place, and the food looks fabulos, especially the deserts. The drive would have been better with the sunshine, the mountain with the snow on it.Will send you pictures of the dinner Kim and i went to on Saturday, not as elegant as yours.
If those winds became hurricane strength. I must have slept through it not even a branch on the lawn, but for precaution I did take in my bird feeder, and my wind chime when they gave the warning Tuesday night, and I phoned Kim to warn her too. I guess Toffino really put on a good Mother Nature show.
Good to hear your arthritis is in remission, mine isn't bothering me much these days. Your shawl looks like a big success, pretty colors.I'm still working on the V neck top with the rust and brown yarn you gave me, sorry I can't send you a picture but it looks good. Went to see "The Kings Speech" last nigh with K. it desereved the Academy Award.
My Dream Catcher has been hanging on my bed rail for many moons too. I did not make it,it was a gift.Your socks look great, nice Spring colours. I am wearing my hand knit socks today to keep my feet warm in this snowy weather. I was invited to go to the Legion for a dinner of Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, but it was a last minute invite so I declined. Good Luck on the shawl
Good to hear you enjoyed your Anniversary dinner, it sounds super delectable. Those cute Alpacas will soon be adopted, I'll go out and measure my Backyard, yuk- yuk! I'll never understand how people can abandon their animals.
How would you feel if some one woke you up in the middle of a nice dream because they thought you were going to fall out of bed?
I don't remember all the buffet, but there was one of my famous trifles, the Pender Island fish was caught by Percy Henderson, and the luscious cake was decorated by another neighbour Elsie Lindenbach whose husband fell down the short flight of steps, sober as a judge. Hopefully the big red bowl is punch and not jello.
You look beautiful Margaret, and your choice of wedding outfit was perfect, DH looks happy too. It was a lovely day, and I'm sure there will be many more.
One of the features of the sock yarn is that the stripes do not match up, not a good feature. I have only 2pr. of hand knit socks left, and I kept those because they do match. I have even unwound balls of yarn in an effort to match them.
Sock it to me!! whats the mistake? surely it's not the unmatched stripes, that is a fashion trend. These days I am knitting a vest with your brown velveteen and rust coloured yarn.
You've changed quite a bit since I last saw you doing your knitting, I wouldn't have recognized you. What are you knitting for me?
Some great pictures, and some wonderful memories of Micheals visit with you. So glad you were able to share some of that time with us, Micheal is a very nice chap, a pleasure to meet him.
Kim I am so sorry to hear about Shawny, poor dog, what awful news, and such a sad time for you. I know how fond you have become of her in the short time you have been together, and what a good companion she has been. I wish there was something I could do to help you.
