He is adorable. I was thinking Panthro would be a good name, but I am not sure that you would appreciate the Thundercats as much as someone like myself who grew up with the cartoon.
Great pictures! It is always need to get a peak at your history. Thanks for sharing.
I loved this. I just thought it was really well done and masterfully captured the freakiness of Carroll's Wonderland.
Thanks so much, Fredo. This is so kind of you to do!
I do believe it was supposed to be the resulting loss of focus! LOL!
I hope you feel better soon. It seems like there is a lot going on. I have actually been recovering all week. I had a nasty chest cold. That was probably the last thing I needed to deal with since Ray's stroke, but the good news is that it doesn't seem like he caught it so that is good!
That is great about the dance lessons. They really are a great way to work on balance and stay in shape. I took ballet, tap, and modern jazz when I was a boy.
We have also been getting our share of snow. The driveway is lined with piles taller than I am, which is interesting. I am hoping we can have a short break and let some of it melt because I am having trouble getting it over the mounds when snowblowing/shoveling.
He called late this afternoon, and he is going to be coming home tomorrow morning!
Ray is doing pretty well. It looks like he might be coming home soon. He was hoping for today, but I am not sure about that. I do think that it will be in the next few days, though. He has already started to recover a lot of his abilities. He is already changing himself and washing up. He even shaved. He is walking with a walker, but that is going really smoothly. He also has been walking very short distances in the room without any assistance at all. Today, they had him go up and down a flight of stairs, which went really well. All-in-all, he seems to be doing quite well.
You are a cleaning machine!
I didn't actually fully understand the details. I know that there are certain aspects of Native culture that are not meant to be seen by outsiders. Maybe the controversy was tied to that. I did like the book a lot, though.
Your review matches the one in the local paper. It seems like a lot of fun even if it isn't totally fresh.
Time definitely does leave some holes in our hearts. We lose so many people that we truly care about. I know that I have lost quite a few, but I try to hold them in my heart, keeping their memories alive.
I have never seen this one, but I do know the book is often taught in high school. There is a lot of controversy surrounding the book because Native Americans are not pleased with how they are portrayed. I am curious to see the movie!
