I am one of those weird people who really enjoys hoity toity theater and high culture and also likes really lowbrow humor and crass (or is it trashy) stuff. Maybe that is a sign that I am not a discerning person when it comes to entertainment. I don't know.

For those of you unfamiliar with it, Jackass is a show that aired on MTV. It follows a group of pretty wild and crazy guys led by Johnny Knoxville as they devise a series of practical jokes and tricks to play on each other. Many of the designs are pretty in-depth, but they all involve a great deal of pain, innuendo, and usually a high level of embarrassment.

As with the first movie, the tricks take on a whole new level since they are not limited by what can be shown on television. As a result, this is not a flick for the faint of heart or for those who are easily offended.

Watching Knoxville and the guys brings about a blend of laughter and horror at the lengths in which they will go to entertain the audience. I would guess there would be only a limited audience for this one at best.
