I don't blame you one little bit...I hate painting, too. And I hate having my house in upheaval even more. And I hate not being able to do something completely on my own and needing another's help.But... freshly painted walls are nice and you'll feel a lot better when it's all over. Any possibility of hiring someone and going away on vacation? I know a nice Canadian girl who would love to have you.
It would help if they just wouldn't speak!
Black bears can be quite a nuisance (sp?) here in rural Ontario but we'd basically have to walk them into the ministry if we wanted anything done.
For people who can't eat it, Capsaicin can be found in supplement form, too. It's an amazing anti-infamatory...I use it when my adhesions are acting up.
Good for you on the paintings! A good friend and wonderful artisan once said to me during one those late night talks that have a mood of their own, "imagine how wonderful the world would be if we could all earn a living doing what we love". Kudos to you.
I agree! Alec Baldwin was *so* creepy in It's Complicated! I kinda thought that whole movie sucked. But his hairy chest did me in. Almost puked a little in my mouth.
I blog in my head all the time. It's usually a good thing when it doesn't make it to print.
Hot chocolate and Nicolas Cage...alone. That's what I wish for you.
Too bad we can't swap weather...we've had a fair share of rain after our hot, dry summer. Your non-serious post made me hungry for brussel sprouts.
I'm here! Does that count? Please blog...
What really got me was the fact that a cow had given birth in the backseat.Your post cheered me up today. Thanks!
Good for you!
Yeesh!I've had a black bear in my back yard more than a few times and the only thing I'm allowed to do is call 9-1-1 and then the ministry of natural resources. Thankfully I'm not scared of them. But a boar?! Wow.
I have to tell you how much I truly love your posts. You, and your situation, reminds me so much of myself.I hope you enjoy your routine-free time with the little ones and I'm so glad that you're able to breathe easier now that he's left. I'm with you, sister... I'll never live with a man again.Unless Nicolas Cage becomes available.
What an interesting history lesson. Regardless, I'm glad for ice cream, my single favourite food.
Good point about who the lucky one is...Sounds like a really lovely way to spend an afternoon.
