My sister used to be really into fashion...she still sort of is. She makes and sells upcycled clothing and does quite well for herself. I just never had the knack and NOBODY wants to see me in panties and heels!
I am that way with books, too.I am jealous of your sewing abilities...that coat sounds fabulous! I've just never had the knack.
Taping is the absolute worst when painting...but at least it feels good when it's all done.I've never gotten sick after a flu shot (touch wood) and we all get them every year because Julian has a compromised immune system and my girls bring home so much sh*t from school. I will watch them extra close this year after we get them done.
Yay!You have got some wonderful mojo going on, girl!Must be a sign of good things to come!
By the way...I forgot to answer you...yes, I am a vegetarian but rarely call myself that. Are you vegan? Did you use the honey? I'm curious.
This most made me miss American grocery stores. You guys have way more selection than we do.I am a big fan of golden Oreos...so was Julian for a long while...and the double stuff ones sound like they would be perfect after a long, grueling day when I want to treat myself.
I think I'll try that this Sunday to kill time with the kids while they wait to go a-souling.
The only way I ever got a massage from my significant other(s) was if there was a "bonus" at the end...and let's face it...who has the energy for that after a good massage!
I knew a reflexologist once...she gave a little workshop on it one summer...maybe this girl could do something like that, too? I'm with Randy...ask everyone for that for Christmas! And send one on up to Ontario.
That's very sweet of you.But would you haul the wood downstairs and make the fire in the furnace?
Your description of curry is making me hungry.Glad you found some shorts.
I am so jealous of your free stuff! The big, chewy pretzels, especially.I'm glad you enjoyed your day but I do wish we could have found out if that guy glowed in the dark.
I feel your dial up pain.
My parents have always heated their homes with wood. There is nothing quite like it. I have a wood furnace but I don't use it often at all because it's hard for me to find time to chop wood and bring it in, etc. For this reason, winter is one of the only times I miss having a husband.
Yay!*You* are one of the big reasons I got Internet at home again...I hated being so out of touch with you and having to rely on infrequent phone calls.I will always find you intersting and hope you can "blog it out" more often.
Wow, that's sort of freaky. My birthday is March 21. Both of my girls are in June and Julian was supposed to born around the same time (all three of my kids were conceived in September...must have been a cold one!) but because he was born early (February) he saved me a LOT of money by not having three b-days in one month.
But now that I think about it...one of my good friends shares a birthday with my oldest and so does my cousin's little girl.
I love your informative posts! It's pretty amazing that what started as going-a-souling turned into free Kit Kats for desperate Mommas to steal from their kids goodie bags, eh?
Is it even possible to lift with your knees and not with your back in that situation?Enjoy your well deserved day off! Or will you be putting up with another mound of clay like poop on that day, too?
