Now we get more heat. The weather will turn sour and tropical again. Just in time for the weekend. More 90's and up. More humidity.

More ice cubes.

I am on a painting binge. You already know that if you read my shtick and look at my photos. Nothing new to report except that I ran out of Medium Violet paint and have to mix it... which I do most of the time anyway.

That color is apparent in my last post. Go see it. It is the vineyard painting with the lake in the background.

How to make violets and lavendars:

Blue, usually a lighter and less intense blue. Use Cerulean, Manganese or whatever. Not Thalo or Cobalt. Then add some very light red and a squeak of grey. Then tone it with little drops of white if you must lighten it.

Finally, go get another glass of pinot grigio. LOL

I hate Fridays lately because it means it is nearly Monday again.

My backyard squirrels, Skippy and Jif, are very happy that Kroger once again carries the Raw peanuts in the shell. They do not prefer cooked food.

Jif is a real fast squirrel. He acts like he is on a "Buzz." and moves like a big chipmunk (probably the fastest rodent on earth.)



It already feels like a sauna here. I will be traveling to Wallymart today just to cool off on the frozen food aisles. Have a good weekend. Monday is coming.
