I'm getting agoraphobia from these mass shootings.
Rosie Rosebud went blind Friday. She is losing. We are losing. I am gutted.
I am still in awe at the sacrifices everyone made.I was very young but I remember our village had no young men for four years. There was a local farmer who plowed vacant lots with his two huge workhorses so people could grow food. There was no gasoline or car tires. I still have some ration book items my Mom gave me. All my uncles (the four older ones) and older cousins went to war. We were fortunate that they all came back. My Grandma had four stars on her door window. I think that stood for the four uncles in uniform. A young man from the village who enlisted in the Navy with one of those uncles was killed when a Kamikaze Japanese airplane hit his gun position on an Essex Class aircraft carrier. He was named Shoemaker. He was buried at sea near Okinawa. I am still so proud of that generation.
Last time I will offer them so cheap.
Mine do criticize. I take it in stride. LOL
If I were interested in a relationship, which I tend to avoid, I would subscribe to an atheist or humanist one.
The Masters of War are seething that our President has ended what was a very lucrative war for them. But they still are drooling at the cash they will suck from the taxpayers for the failing F-35 strike fighter program. Over 2300 jets will cost (an estimate- which will ALWAYS be short of the true amount) $400,000,000,000.00. That's 400 Billion.
That's been the 'shopping plaza' pattern here for years, outdoor shops and restaurants, arranged in little city blocks with streets, sidewalks and all the look of the old downtowns.
