"Wow" wants me to give her a key to my doors. I think that would be a commitment, don't you?

I am not in agreement about committing myself. If I wanted to commit myself I would walk into a mental hospital.

But...

She does have that unique way of persuading me.

I think I will allow her to continue the persuasion and hang onto my spare key...?

My alma mater HS football team lost last night to Fremont St. Joe, 27-26, in overtime. It was H-L's first home field loss since 2003, and the 2nd-ranked Div VI team in all Ohio lost to an unranked but undefeated squad in a squeaker.

You have to lose eventually, and in the last 4 years since I moved back here they have only lost the final game in the post-season playoffs - not a single regular season game! That is something they can be proud for accomplishing.

We finally got a little taste of light rain this morning. The streets are wet, but not under the trees. The river is so dry you could walk across without getting your knees wet. Two years ago we had devastating floods this month - twice in two weeks! Some homes in the flood plain on the south side of town were totaled. What a difference.

It now looks as if Iran's stupidity will result in military action. Sanctions won't result in anything positive. Sanctions can easily be avoided. Nuclear arms in Iran's hands would make me believe in The Revelations. Brace yourselves.
