Bad freezing rain here. A few vehicles creeping by. A salt truck went through a while ago. I wonder if the vehicles are going to the stores so they can buy salt? LOL

The non-Epicurean life is not worth living.
Made one run around town once the ice melted to puddles. I stocked up on kitty litter and distilled water, which is the coffee water and cat water now. Then I came back home for the duration. The rain persisted all day and all night and is still here. We are soaked,but it will turn into snow once the temp. drops today or tonight. It is 48F right now.
The weatherman keeps saying it is headed our way but I don't think so. Just rain and dreary here. I can do without the ice since we had more than our share last February. We were without power for 4 days. Thank goodness we have a huge fireplace and had lots of wood.
It skated right by us and I am so thankful because my daughter and grand daughters are driving down from Tulsa to day.
Freezing rain was always the low point in the New York year. I hope you don't have to drive in it.
