A good-sized limb in my neighbor's yard (that house is unoccupied right now) blew down and tore off the cable to my house. No TV.

I called Time Warner just a few ago and they said it can't be repaired until Tuesday the 15th. Today is the 9th. Oh my.

But tomorrow night's Browns vs. Steelers game ain't on the TV anyway. It is broadcast by the NFL Network, and Time Warner doesn't carry that (it doesn't carry much, folks.)

I will mostly miss my regulars:

The History Channel
NatGeo
ESPN
SyFy (Damn good show that ALICE was! Don't tell me you missed it!)
All the three public TV channels we get and last but not least...
The Food Network

Thank goodness I don't have Roadrunner cable Internet or I wouldn't be able to post this.

I had to drive to the bank, Kroger and TJ Willie's for a stiff one to warm me up. It is absolutely frigid and the wind is over 50 mph sustained now. The high tomorrow will be 17F.

Take that, Florida!

Now, where did I put my reading list. I have until Tuesday morning to get some serious reading done!
