I posted this the other day on another blog that only allows for short posts:
"It's hard to keep your head when everybody thinks you are the only person who can do what needs to be done and you have run out of towels, clean clothes, the house hasn't been cleaned since Christmas, the bills are stacked six inches deep on the desk, the phone rings constantly from 7 am to ten pm and tomorrow is your 92-year-old Mother's birthday. So I'm going incognito for a while. Bye."
It is much more than what I described, so I won't get into that except to say that my volunteering has meant everyone asks me to do everything everywhere.
I have to step away from all that for a while, and there is a very very good reason:
I no longer have time to do my art.
I haven't painted a stroke in almost three months.
That is criminally insane.
Therefore, I have cut my email-blog time to one hour a day. I have eliminated one of my volunteer situations. I have changed one of my phone numbers (not the cell) and I am concentrating on me for the near future.
I will check in and update the life here.
Be patient. I DO read my email!
