We're doing takeout tonight from a place where the two staff usually don't wear masks (I do). But I'll take the chance for the cheese steak and onion rings.
It seems like after three months most of us are willing to take some degree of increased risk. My county in Upstate NY is doing so well at keeping cases down that I'd probably feel safe without a mask. But Donna keeps me on track. Fortunately you had a good experience. Kind of makes the risk worth it!
New Your state is actually doing quite well with only 30 deaths per day in the city and some of them are only covid related. I don't know if it's been 42 days, but we're doing quite well!
People around here see bear all the time. It's never a big deal except when school was in session. But bears don't eat even the smallest brat, so no big deal.
My goodness! Up before noon, I'm shocked!
We hadn't heard here that the fires have started.
Hurricanes, tornadoes, bears, fires and sometimes we get a bit of water in the basement. It get more convinced every time I see something like this that I live in a really good place!
The one year I didn't harvest my peppers until the end of the season (September). I had enough small ones to make a crock pot of stuffed peppers and the tiniest ones to use in salad.
Sad to say, the only thing I watch on TV that isn't news or Judge Judy is 90 Day (insert bullshit). Naturally they pick the most dysfunctional couples they can find and that's basically where the fun is. A fb friend who I knew from the old days in Middle Village PMed me before: I'm sick of the current situation, got any garden pictures to share? I'll tag him in a video I just took on the way home from bloodwork and the store.
Those suckers sure are big!
I need a replacement ballot for the primary and the BOE said it was mailed two days ago from less than two miloes away. But that isn't why I called them. I received two school budget ballots (Donna received one) and I wanted to know why--I figured one was the replacement for the primary. But nope, they don't do the school vote. So frigit. I'll vote once for the school budget and just forget about the second one.
Missy is her own dog, but Max.... I'm almost 100% sure that it's Max who takes a protest dump when he's left home when we go out. Today I went out to work and Donna wasn't up yet. But apparently Max didn't consider that. So there was the dump behind my living room chair when I came in. He was waiting at the door, so it's pretty clear that he though we were both out.
Usually the answer is Chinese style with hot sauce, but I see your question has a different flavor. I'm 67 and Donna is a bit younger. My boyz lived to be 16 and 17 so I know I couldn't outlive a puppy. So we adopted a pair of 11-year-old lap dogs. Should work out just about right. Good luck. I hope you don't mind the smell of cat piss.
I'm satisfied just picking up the crap people throw out of the car window onto my lawn.
We had a guy in the other day to help me get my chimney cleaning tool out of the chimney. One of the rods split and it got stuck on the way down, but he had the right tool. No mask when he got out of the Jeep. Should have told him then to get the hell back in it and leave. But this seemed to be the safest time to get it done. Long story short: Donna was pissed, although she's finally getting over it. The guy is 79 and not afraid, but he should show some concern for his customers.
