Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!Here's what Jenn and I had for lunch:

Smoked turkey

Broccoli and cheese casserole

Mashed potatoes and brown gravy

Pecan and pumpkin pies

Hazelnut coffee

and lots of phone calls home to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
The tree is up as of yesterday and the table is splendid with a red and gold runner from Taiwan. We are in the holiday mood!
I was going to post pictures of the food and the decorations, but only the decorations pictures will upload. Not sure why the others won't. Enjoy!
The tree. El Cheapo tree, couldn't find anything better. They all look scrawny. Mom is going to buy one for us and keep it until we can get home to bring it down here someday.

The festive table. I'm sure wifey would have appreciated it if I had waited until she cleared the table, but I was in turbo mode. (men!!)

Well, waddaya know...I got it to upload my pecan pie. (crust needs work, first time to make one, must get more practice...oh yeah!)

Viola! Also Jenn's pumpkin pie. Crust somewhat better, but still not just right.
