...has been unique. My wifey is sick, so I sent her to bed.
I've been puttering around in the kitchen all day. It really is one of the most relaxing things I do. I made up two batches of cinnamon rolls for a friend who ordered them. Then I started a batch of sauerkraut. We can't find it here in the grocery stores, so I Googled it. ("Google" is a verb in Spanish now, too!) The recipe is quite simple and I'm already done. Here's a link, if you're interested. And a video, if you're only curious.I've washed dishes and swept, etc. So, the rolls are in the oven. The kraut is well on it's way to fermenting. And I'm just happy to be alive.
I just took my wife some oatmeal with banana in it and some Chamomille tea. I used soy milk since doctors don't recommend dairy products for upset stomach. (It's NOT morning sickness.) She seems to be doing better.
We have a church service tonight, so I must be getting ready soon.
Thanks for stopping by!
