Title rhymes with that of an old song by David Allan Coe with quite a different meaning!
We hosted the area-wide youth rally this evening at our church. It was fun to watch the young people mix and mingle, eat, play and worship together. We're finally seeing progress in getting them interested in activities here and bringing thier friends along. All of our activities are very family friendly and designed to promote good citizenship, etc.
We gave a couple of them the responsibility of organizing the games afterwards. It seems to have drawn those two out and given them the opportunity to develop some leadership skills.
On another note, Jennifer and I are going to the border for a few days on Sunday. We need a break and a chance to relax. Although Taiwan was fun, we didn't relax much. I never blogged about the working part of that particular trip due to sensitivity/confidentiality issues. Needless to say, it negated the relaxing/fun part. So, we're going to try again.
