For two months now, we've been without hot water in our apartment. Despite repeated calls to the owners and their empty promises for a solution, we are still taking cold showers. Today was the last straw. The totally incompetent plumber told me to please not go up on the roof and turn any more knobs. Excuse me!! If he had done his job properly in the first place TWO MONTHS ago, I wouldn't have been tempted go up on the roof and take matters into my own hands. At least when I got finished on the roof yesterday, my wife could take a hot shower. That's more than what I can say about his efforts this morning. We're back down to a trickle from the hot water side and a promise that someone will come tomorrow and clean the dust off the solar panel hot water heaters. After heating water on the stove for a bucket bath, we promptly left to look for either property or a house to rent or buy.

Hopefully, we'll soon be able to take our deposit and run for higher ground.
