I was going to write this as a comment on another blog, but decided against it for two reasons. It was getting lengthy and the other blog is not MY space to make MY statement.
I just wanted to offer the opinion that the Republicans are not the only ones at fault for the economic crisis we're facing. The WHOLE WORLD right now is facing economic crises just like ours. I don't see any Republicans in Mexico (except for me and my wife), but I just read a depressing article in a national magazine here that mirrors the bad news in the States. It is ludicrous to lay the blame for all our economic woes at the feet of one man (Bush) or even one party (Republicans) when what is happening in the States is happening world wide.
I'm not a Bush fan, by the way. He lacks in leadership and eloquence. (Obama isn't too far behind him in the eloquence deficiency, by the way. As for leadership, we'll soon see.) However, the stupidity seems to waft from one side of the aisle to the other in both directions. (eg. Blogojevich, Burris, Reid).
Fankly, if you're a believer in either party or the players in either party, you're handicapable far too high for crutches.
