I hate it. It stinks. I never want to return to the status of Bachelor. No, thanks.
Last night and today I had to be a single pastor again, and it's not pretty. I missed my wife. I know, I know. She's right here at home and I'm not really SINGLE, but today sure felt like it. I hadn't realized how much I've come to depend on her. And people miss her. Someone said, "There was a great void at church last night." I wanted to say, "Yeah, tell me about it."
She'll be out and about soon enough, but until then, I'm head cook and bottle washer here at home, too. In spite of the medication, she still feels a lot of pain which spreads all the way down to her shoulders and back. I'm pampering her, though. And she's grateful. We just got back from the grocery to find soft things for her to eat. How do pancakes grab ya? We got some instant mashed potatoes and papaya as well. I don't understand the prohibition of diary products. Is there something in dairy that can cause things to go wrong? Who knew?
